Stannard Rock Casting/Jigging Trip
|
Stannard Rock is located 44 miles north of Shelter Bay. The lighthouse is on a shallow reef where native lake trout feed. This is our premiere trip. Casting and jigging are the methods by which the fish are caught here. This is "World Class Lake Trout Fishing", and many records have been set at the Rock. All tackle is provided; however if you have a favorite rod, bring it along and we will tell you the best way to rig it up! Limit catches are common, and fish in the 20-30 lb class caught daily! Click
here to read a article on Stannard Rock fishing written by Capt. Ric and
published in some local fishing magazines.
